Tips For Pump Truck Maintenance
——Winter Maintenance
Principles that the concrete pump truck must follow before driving:
1. Make sure that the boom of the pump truck has been completely folded and fixed, otherwise it is not allowed to drive on the road;
2. Check whether the outriggers of the concrete pump truck are all retracted in place and whether the outrigger locks are locked;
3. Check the closing and sealing of the fuel tank and water tank of the pump truck, and no leakage is allowed;
4. Carry out safety inspections on the chassis of the concrete pump truck (such as brake system, steering system, lighting system, tire pressure, etc.);
5. Observe the weight of the whole vehicle;
6. Check the tire surface of the pump truck. If it is a double tire, check whether there is any sundries in between;
7. Check whether the accessories of the whole vehicle are fixed in a safe position;
8. Switch the chassis to the driving state.
Here comes the point!!!
Winter is here. In addition to daily maintenance, pump trucks also need winter maintenance. Today we will talk to you about winter pump truck maintenance and prevention tips!
1. Daily inspection before construction
Periodically (every 10 days or every 50 working hours) discharge the sediment water at the bottom of the fuel tank before starting work, and timely check whether the gear oil of the rotary reducer and the chassis transfer case has been water-infected, and replaced according to the maintenance cycle.
Check whether the electrical components function normally and whether the water tank is filled with clean water. (When the temperature is too low when shutting down, please pay attention to emptying the water in the water tank, water tank, and water pump to prevent freezing and cracking of the components).
Check that the concrete piston should be well sealed and no mortar seeps into the water tank.
Check the cutting ring, the gap between the glasses plate is normal (maximum gap is 2mm).
Check the outside of the cooler and clean it immediately if there is dirt, otherwise it will easily cause the oil to overheat.
2. Maintenance of lubrication points in winter
The winter lubrication point maintenance has the following three aspects:
Grease pump: The first thing to check is the grease liquid in the grease pump. The lubricating liquid in the pump cannot be lower than the filter, and it is necessary to ensure that the pointer of the distributor is always in motion.
Concrete conveying cylinder piston: You can apply some grease on the piston appropriately, so as to extend the service life.
Swing cylinder double oil cup lubrication: add it before each construction and more than four hours after construction,
so as to recycle.
3. Chassis maintenance
It is best to perform a maintenance for the engine of the chassis, including all types of existing ones, the filter element can be replaced, and the engine is filled with special antifreeze in winter to ensure the life of the engine.
